Sammen med Norad vil KÅKÅnomics hvert år spørre om hvordan det går i verden, dette er festivalens ‘state of the world’ event! I år har vi fokus på verden i kjølvannet av Covid-19. Mens rike land er på vei ut av pandemien via vaksinering og krisepakker, henger den igjen i fattige land med fare for langsiktige økonomiske og sosiale konsekvenser. Går verden mot økt fattigdom og større ulikhet? Hva kan gjøres med dette i en verden som samtidig må omstilles så naturmiljø og klima reddes?

Et særdeles egnet panel skal trekke opp de store linjene og diskutere løsningene: Hvordan får vi verden på rett kjøl?

– Kåkånomics in collaboration with Norad

Together with Norad, Kåkånomics will ask each year how the world is doing, this is the festival’s “state of the world”-event! This year we focus on the world in the wake of Covid-19. While rich countries are emerging from the pandemic through vaccination and crisis packages, it is lagging behind in poor countries at risk of long-term economic and social consequences. Is the world moving towards increased poverty and greater inequality? What can be done about this in a world that must at the same time be restructured so that the natural environment and climate are saved? 

A particularly suitable panel will draw the main lines and discuss the solutions: How do we get the world on the right track?
