It has become increasingly clear that the world is entering a major phase of transition. Our current way of life is pushing the planet to its limits, geopolitical tensions are rising, and the technological revolution is leading us into uncharted territory. The way forward remains uncertain.
In his latest book, History for Tomorrow, Roman Krznaric examines how we can tackle today’s crises by learning from both the mistakes and achievements of the past. He engages in conversation with Kalle Moene, one of our most distinguished and versatile economists, and Siddhart Sareen, a leading environmental social scientist specializing in energy transition governance. Together, they explore some of the most urgent and far-reaching questions imaginable: What kind of futures do we want to shape? And what futures are possible?
